Project Night Night

Project Night Night-helping homeless children have sweeter dreams.

I am involved in our local MOPS group (Mothers of Preschoolers), which I LOVE! You can find a local chapter here. I get to hang out with my wonderful friends for two hours twice a month, while our kids are all playing together and watched nearby. It's a great chance to catch up, get a break, and we have speakers & CRAFTS!!!! I love it. It's a Christian non-profit organization and full of love and support. It is a huge reason I love where I live and that it feels like home now. This year I took on our outreach project, Project Night Night. You can read all about it here. Basically you buy tote bags from the organization ($3.50/ea) and fill it with a book, stuffed animal, and new blanket. Our amazing group of mothers brought so much stuff that each bag had at least 2 books, 2 stuffed animals, toothbrush and toothpaste, and a beautiful blanket. I dropped it off at our local community shelter and they'll be sharing it with the local women's shelter for all the kiddies. It's a GREAT program!!!!!!
We filled 35 totes! Thank you ladies for your generosity!!!!!!!!!
Bye George. Hope you made a little one very happy! You can order as few or as many totes as you want. It would be so much fun to do a girl's night and put together some totes. I might do this with my neighborhood girls.
