FABRIC from Durango Sewing Center

Look at these goodies I got this week. AHHHHHH just beautiful. Lots of color! For those in Durango, I got these at the amazing store, Durango Sewing Center (153 E. 15th St.). It really is a wonderful store. These are all fat quarters. I really want to make a quilt for my daughter but I might use these fat quarters for knot dresses and purses. Not sure yet.
Close up. COLOR!!!!!
Lots of flowers, blues, and purples (and 2 more yards from my coat I made).
This is purple and black. I think purses in the future..... So if you live in Durango, visit this great store. Gayle, the owner, is doing so well with lots of classes that she's expanding the store. She has some great sales right now too. She fixes sewing machines (cleaned mine) and is so willing to answer questions. You can tell she just loves fabric and quilting and people.

  1. Oh! Cute! Where is this place... we need to chat!

  2. Marci, right next to Vitamin Cottage (Natural Grocers) in the building where VOA Thrift Store used to be, but in the top.

  3. Durango Sewing Center has moved! They're now at 153 E 15th Street, right by the gazebo park. :D

Their fabric selection continues to be awesome, though. <3

  4. Thanks for the Update, Ellzabelle! ~ Chelsea Terris/ Durango Sewing Center
